Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pavado Technologies Inc. (“we”, “us”), a corporation formed in the Province of Ontario, Canada, covering your use of the Clairop iOS app and this website. By using them, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use Clairop
You must be at least 17 years old. If you don't meet that, please don't use the app.
2. What Clairop does
Clairop uses AI to design outfits from a photo you provide and to generate images showing how those outfits might look on you. It also surfaces links to products from third-party retailers.
Styling suggestions are exactly that: suggestions, produced by an AI model. They are offered for personal, informational use, and they carry no guarantee of accuracy, suitability, or fit.
3. AI-generated images
Try-on renders are synthetic images produced by an AI model. They are not photographs, they will not match reality exactly, and clothing may not look the same in person. Every render is labelled as AI-generated in the app.
You agree not to present Clairop renders as genuine photographs, and not to use them to deceive, impersonate, or misrepresent yourself or anyone else.
4. Your photos
You keep all rights to the photos you upload. By using the app, you grant us only the limited permission needed to process a photo in order to produce your results, nothing more. We don't store your photos on our servers, and we never use them to train AI models.
You confirm that you have the right to use any photo you upload, and that it depicts you or someone who has agreed to it.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Clairop to:
- Upload photos of people who haven't consented, or photos of minors.
- Upload unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
- Create images intended to deceive, defame, harass, or impersonate.
- Reverse-engineer the app, or access our backend other than through the app.
- Resell, scrape, or redistribute results, or make automated bulk requests.
We may apply fair-use limits on how many fits and renders can be generated, and we may suspend access that appears abusive or automated.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Clairop offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Clairop Pro, which unlocks unlimited fits and AI try-on renders. Current pricing and any free-trial length are always shown in the app before you purchase, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel any time in your Apple account settings, or via Style → Manage Subscription in the app.
Purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are at Apple's discretion under the Apple Media Services Terms; we can't issue them directly. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other consumer protection law that applies to you.
7. Third-party products and links
Product images, prices, availability and links come from third-party retailers and may be out of date or inaccurate. We don't sell these products, we're not party to your purchase, and we're not responsible for those retailers or their sites.
8. Availability
Clairop needs an internet connection to generate fits and renders. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that results will be accurate, flattering, or suitable for any purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You can stop using Clairop at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and surfaced in the app. Continuing to use Clairop after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, except where the law that applies to you as a consumer gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
